Amaro, Lozano to discuss Rollins today

MLBTradeRumors.com is reporting that GM Ruben Amaro Jr. will meet with Jimmy Rollins' agent Dan Lozano today.

The news was originally reported by ESPN's Jerry Crasnick via Twitter.

"Jimmy Rollins agent Dan Lozano is expected to have a talk with #Phillies GM Ruben Amaro on Saturday."

MLBTradeRumors.com is also reporting that the St. Louis Cardinals are progressing in making a deal with shortstop Rafael Furcal.

The Cardinals were rumored to have interest in Rollins, but now it seems that they have their attention focused on bringing back Furcal.

With the Cardinals now probably out of the running, the Phillies have a great oppurtunity to make more progress with Rollins, and possibly even re-sign him in the very near future.
