It was reported early this morning that the Phillies were close to signing Ryan Madson to a four-year deal, but now multiple sources are reporting many different reasons for why the deal was either delayed or called off. Some are even saying that the Phillies have not made an offer to Madson yet, and that Jonathan Papelbon is still in the mix
