Could Madson join Werth in Washington?

Closer Ryan Madson is going to be a tough free agent to bring back for next season.

The fact that Scott Boras is his agent means that Madson is going to be looking for big money, and on top of that, he has showed that he wants to test the free agent market.

Now, Sports Illustrated's Jon Heyman is reporting that former Phillie now National Jayson Werth, is trying to convince Madson in to signing with Washington.

There are also reports that the Miami Marlins, who are moving into a new stadium next year, are interested in Madson. Of course, Miami's interest is fueled not only by the new stadium, but the news that their current closer Leo Nunez forged his identity.
