Three years ago today, the Philadelphia Phillies won the World Series, ending their 28 year championship drought and the city's 25 year long drought. This team took the baseball world by storm in 2008. They refused to give up, even when the Mets, the surprising Tampa Bay Rays, and bad weather tried to stand in their way. 2008 will always be remembered by Philadelphia sports fans, and make no mistake, this team gave us all great memories.
