The Phillies made some small roster moves today.
Here is Jim Salisbury's (CSNPhilly.com) report:
"The Phillies have done some light roster housekeeping.
Infielder Pete Orr and outfielder Brandon Moss were both out righted off the 40-man roster. Both have become free agents.
Pitcher Jose Contreras was taken off the 60-day disabled list and placed back on the 40-man roster. Contreras missed much of the 2011 season with an elbow injury that required surgery.
On the scouting/front office front, the team has lost one of its top advisers with Jim Fregosi Jr. leaving to join the Kansas City Royals as a special assistant to general manager Dayton Moore."
