Moyer looking for a comeback

Yeah, you read that headline right. Jamie Moyer, the soon to be 49 year old pitcher, is looking to make a comeback in the Majors according to Jim Salisbury of CSNPhilly.com

Moyer had Tommy John Surgery nearly one year ago, and is now contacting teams for a tryout.

Moyer is no longer a Phillie, his contract ended after the 2010 season, but the Phillies orginization has kindly helped him rehab from his surgery.

Though the Phillies helped him recover, general manger Ruben Amaro Jr. isn't sure if he will invite Moyer to spring training next year.

Moyer, a Philadelphia area native, is 267-204 in his career. He had a record of 56-40 during his tome on the Phillies.

Moyer's most productive year with Philadelphia came in 2008, when he finished the year with a 16-7 record, and go his first World Series ring, playing for his hometown team.
