Series so Far

- The Phillies won the first game of the series 1-0 behind the excellent pitching of Roy Halladay and Jonathan Papelbon.

- The Pirates won 2-1 in 10 innings in game two. Hunter Pence hit an RBI single in the first to give the Phils a 1-0 lead. Cliff Lee was solid, but a wild pitch in the sixth inning allowed Pittsburgh to tie it up. In the bottom of the 10th, Alex Presley beat out a throw to first to drive in the run from third for the walk-off win.

- Vance Worley had a great rookie season in 2011. Today will be a good indicator of whether or not the Vanimal goes through a sophmore slump.
