Hamels expects to return Friday

Cole Hamels threw a light bullpen session under the watch of Rich Dubee in Washington on Saturday.

Afterwards, Hamels told the press that he expects to be back in the rotation this Friday to pitch against the Marlins.

Hamels missed his start last Friday when an MRI showed inflamation in his left shoulder. He will be throwing again this week before his next start.
