Pitcher Cole Hamels has been placed on the 15-day disabled list due to shoulder inflamation.Hamels is still the expected starter for Monday's game in Cinncinati. He will be eligible for activation on Sunday.
Hamels was scheduled to pitch on Friday against the Marlins in Philadelphia. Now it appears that Kyle Kendrick will be getting the start.
